I joined the Total Tax Group having had no former experience in accountancy, and so I’ve trained intensively to gain extensive experience.
My monthly work cycle centers around Payroll, CIS and Auto-Enrolment filings for our clients. I enjoy the challenge of the continual monthly deadline; it directly effects clients’ employees’ take home pay and so we need to get right and on time, every month!
I also manage the internal compliance functions of the company, ensuring our in-house processes are effective and making sure we meet the rigorous requirements of our regulatory bodies, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales.
Out of work, I have a growing reputation as a “crazy cat lady”, and my feline friends are a source of many giggles. And, when not found doing my version of car karaoke, in quieter moments I love stargazing and astronomy.
